Thank you for using StayLog ("the App").
StayLog is designed to help users record, organize, and manage hotel stays and travel memories. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

2. Data Storage
Your StayLog data is primarily stored locally on your device.
If you enable Apple's iCloud services, the App may use Apple's iCloud synchronization technologies to sync your data across devices associated with your Apple Account.
The developer does not directly access, read, collect, or download the stay records, notes, or photos you store in the App.
3. Permissions Used by the App
Photo Library Permission
The App may request access to your photo library so that you can select photos for stay records, choose profile images, or save generated share card images to your device.
Location Permission
The App may request access to your location so that you can mark stays on the map, search for nearby places or hotels, and help with place selection or address entry.
Calendar Permission
If you choose to use calendar sync features, the App may request access to your calendar so that stay records can be added to your system calendar.
Contacts Permission
The App may request access to your contacts so that you can choose contacts when sharing stay records or related content.
4. Network Requests and Third-Party Services
Some App features require network access in order to function properly.
For example, when you use features such as place search, translation, reverse geocoding, weather display, or time validation, relevant request data such as search keywords (including hotel and region names for translation), coordinates, device request metadata, or time-check requests may be sent to Apple or third-party service providers in order to return results.
These service providers may include Apple services and other third-party services used to provide map, location, translation (such as Google Translate services), weather, or network time functionality. No personally identifiable information (PII) or device identifiers are shared with these translation services.
StayLog does not use this data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or data sale.
5. Data Sharing
StayLog does not sell your personal data.
StayLog does not use advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, or cross-app tracking for advertising purposes.
Except as described in this Policy for feature operation, the developer does not intentionally disclose your App content to third parties.
6. In-App Purchases
The App offers Apple's official In-App Purchase services.
All payment transactions are processed directly by Apple.
The developer does not receive or store your credit card information, banking details, or other payment credentials.
For more information about Apple's payment and privacy practices, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
7. Data Export and Deletion
The App allows users to export their own data in formats such as:
- JSON
- CSV
Users may delete hotel records and related content at any time within the App.
If iCloud sync is enabled, deleted data may also be removed from synchronized devices through Apple's synchronization mechanisms.
Users may also remove locally stored data by deleting the App from their device.
8. Data Security
Reasonable measures are taken to help protect user data.
Because data is primarily stored on user devices and may optionally sync through Apple's iCloud services, data security is also supported by Apple's platform-level protections.
However, no method of electronic storage, synchronization, or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in App features, legal requirements, or operational practices.
Any updates will be posted in the applicable policy location and will become effective upon publication.
